Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Open Path’s Young Entrepreneurs Grant Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age: You must be between 14 and 35 years old
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You should have a clear business idea or an existing early-stage business
- Commitment: Demonstrate dedication and commitment to bringing your business idea to life
- Impact: Your business should have the potential to make a positive impact on your community or industry
How to Apply
To be eligible for Open Path’s Young Entrepreneurs Grant Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Prepare Your Idea: Craft a compelling business plan and outline your vision for your business
- Complete the Application: Fill out our straightforward online application form, providing details about your business and why you should be considered for a grant. You must provide a business plan for your entrepreneurial venture.
- Review Process: Our expert panel will meticulously review all applications based on creativity, feasibility, and potential impact. Applicants selected to move on to the next round must answer a few questions via video recording.
- Notification: Successful applicants will receive an email notification of our decision within three (3) months of your initial application. We’ll then work closely with you to refine your business plan and provide the necessary support.
- Launch Your Dream: With the entrepreneur grant, mentorship, and resources at your disposal, you’ll be well on your way to launching your dream business!
What Successful Entrepreneur Applicants Receive:
- An initial award ranging from $500 to $10,000 depending on needs as demonstrated by the business plan and budget submitted (*successful return applicants are eligible for a grant of up to $30,000)
- Regular group trainings and mentorship from Open Path Foundation leadership, donors, and volunteers
- Some of our favorite books about personal leadership and business development
